What is The Village Retreat?
This retreat is a sacred, curated space for mamas of stillborn babies to share their stories, honor their little ones, and connect with others who understand their grief. For one weekend, they can show up exactly as they are — free from expectations and surrounded by compassion.
We’re here to listen, love, and offer tools to help them carry this lifelong grief while continuing to live their daily lives.
Mamas come from across the country and from every stage of the healing journey — whether their loss was recent or many years ago. All are welcome. And every year, the Lord brings together the perfect group.

The Village Retreat 2026
Nov 6-8 - Murrells Inlet, SC
Registration opens on August 8th on this page and it is open to anyone with a stillborn baby. You only pay for your travel and a $100 non-refundable registration fee.

Four brave women traveled from OK, IN and NC to share their stories, make connections, rest, to be loved on and to honor their babies.
2023 - Banner Elk, NC
This year, we welcomed four new stillborn mamas and their babies into The Village Retreat community.
2022 - Blowing Rock, NC
This year, we had four new mamas and babies join our intimate retreat community.
2021 - Banner Elk, NC
We moved to the mountains for the first time this year and welcomed five new mamas into our retreat circle.
2020 - Carolina Beach, NC
We welcomed six new mamas from across the U.S. into the retreat circle and two from 2019 came back to mentor the new group!
2019 - Florida
